Born Johnny Allen Hendrix on November 27th, Jimi Hendrix has become one of the greatest musical icons of the 20th century. His achievements include being named the greatest guitarist of all time by Rolling Stone in 2003, an induction into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, and a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. With a career ending tragically at the age of 27, Hendrix has left us with some of the greatest guitar solos of all time as well as a new way to look at rock music.

In honor of the re-release of his landmark album, Electric Ladyland, along with a DVD of never before seen footage of the making of the record, JamsBio has compiled a list of the best Hendrix fan sites on the web.
